James
H. Wallace
President and CEO
James Wallace founded Cranel, Inc. in 1985 and today guides the
overall strategic direction of the company with more than 30 years
experience in the microcomputer and engineering industry. Prior
to founding Cranel, Jim was owner of Microtech, an electronic component
manufacturer's representatives firm. Jim also established Cascade
Data, an electronic component company; and a business computer firm
REP Associates.
Under Jim's direction, Cranel has experienced uninterrupted double-digit
growth throughout its history. Through Jim's leadership, Cranel
has grown into an expansive company with locations across the U.S.
Jim graduated from North Dakota State University and received a
MBA from the University of Iowa. He also participated in the Advanced
Management Program at Harvard University.
Scott C. Slack
Vice President and General Manager
Scott Slack was appointed Vice President and General Manager of Cranel Imaging in 2004, after
holding the positions of Vice President of Marketing and Marketing Director. Prior to joining Cranel,
Scott held senior marketing and sales management positions at Information
Dimensions, Inc., Legent Corporation and Sterling Software.
Scott leads Cranel in the development and implementation of marketing
strategies and programs, as well as directing vendor relations'
efforts and partner development initiatives. He holds B.S. and B.A.
degrees in Marketing and Transportation & Logistics from The Ohio
State University.
Michael A. Tracy
Chief Financial Officer
Michael Tracy was designated Chief Financial Officer in October
2000. He previously held senior financial management positions with
The Mike An Group, MBA Marketing Corporation and Safelite Auto Glass.
He also served as an auditor and manager at Arthur Andersen & Co.
Michael directs all accounting, finance and human resources functions
at Cranel. He is a CPA and a graduate of Miami University of Ohio.
Michael C. Cush
Chief Technology Officer
Michael Cush joined Cranel in October 2000 as Chief Technology
Officer. Prior to his appointment, he served as Vice President of
Technical Services for Resource One Computer Systems. He also held
positions at Sun Microsystems and The Ohio State University's Computer
and Information Science Department.
As Chief Technology Officer, Michael plots the technical future
of Cranel, directs market analysis and develops company market positions.
Michael is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a B.S. degree in
Management Information Systems.
